Rock Tools

About Us

Mitsubishi Materials Rock Tools specializes in under reaming bit systems for drilling and advancing casing at the same time.  Made in Japan, with strict quality control standards, we use our own in-house manufactured tungsten carbide buttons in all of our devices. Applications include water well drilling, construction drilling, foundation drilling, and geothermal drilling.  In addition, we manufacture a full line of DTH hammers and bits, which are produced in the USA.  Our line of top hammer blast hole and underground mining rock tools are considered some of the best in the world. There are three stocking warehouses in North America, located in Fullerton, CA, Mooresville, NC and Toronto, Canada.

Casing Products

Mitsubishi Materials Rock Tools offers a unique product lineup for the water well and piling industries. For overburden drilling, we offer world class Super Max Bit (SMB) and Ultra Max Bit (UMB) products in addition to conventional DTH bits. The SMB and UMB products provide the ability to install casing or piling with ease in all types of rock formations and hole depths. For construction, the top hammer, DTH and rotary drilling provide the best solution for all types of applications including civil engineering projects, tunneling, surface drilling, anchoring, piling and foundation projects.

Bench Drilling

Bench Drilling

Mitsubishi Materials Rock Tools bench drilling product offering includes the Top Hammer GT60 Series, MD Hammer and DTH Bits. The GT60 Series provides double the penetration rate at half the energy consumed compared with DTH drilling, permits a wider hole range using the same rock drill and has carbide buttons, formulated and sintered in-house. For greater depth, better penetration rate, hole straightness and larger diameter holes across all types of applications, look at the MD Hammer and DTH Bits. Its simple design also makes the hammer easy-to-maintain and service.
